ARTIST Bio

Hailing from Kansas City, Kansas, Jon Zager is a singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist whose music blends Americana, blues, country, and southern rock. Rooted in storytelling and melody, his songs balance tradition with a modern sensibility, drawing listeners in with honesty and grit.

With the release of his EP Hello Eyes, recorded at Nashville’s Sony Studios, Zager reached new creative heights. The project marked his first collaboration with producer Matt Nolen, who assembled an ensemble of Nashville session elite, including multiple ACM Award-winners, to add depth and texture to Zager’s unique acoustic-driven sound.

Zager has continued to collaborate with Nolen on a number of recent singles. “All the Way to Austin” channels modern country rock, “Neon Blue” leans into blues-inspired grooves, and “Like You Do” explores adult contemporary territory, showcasing his versatility and range as both a writer and performer.

Zager is again working with producer Matt Nolen on his fourth studio album, slated for release in Spring 2026, further expanding a catalog that honors his influences while showcasing a voice distinctively his own.
